Cancellation policy for Smartfoot
right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period shall be fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier designated by you takes possession of the goods.
exercise of the right of withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must return the ordered goods to us. Please proceed as follows:
- Use a return slip: If your package includes a return slip, please use it. Otherwise, please print out the return slip and place it in the package, fully filled out.
- Use parcel label:
* a) If your package already contains a parcel label, be sure to use it for the return shipment. Stick the parcel label onto the package in a clearly visible place where it cannot be torn off and hand it in at the post office.
* b) If your package does not include a parcel label and it is a Smartfoot sole, simply request the return by email to info@smartfoot.de. Please include your order number and the recipient's address. The goods will be picked up from you after prior notification by telephone.
* c) If there is no parcel label enclosed with the package and it is not a Smartfoot sole, you can generate a parcel label via our returns portal. Print out this parcel label, stick it on the package in a clearly visible and tear-proof manner and take it to the post office.
consequences of revocation
If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), promptly and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless something else was expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund.
We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier. You must return or hand over the goods to us promptly and in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us that you have cancelled this contract. This deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.
You only have to pay for any loss of value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling of the goods which is not necessary to check their quality, properties and functioning.
Note on partial revocation
If you have a right of cancellation with regard to your order and you should exercise this right after submitting your contractual declaration with regard to part of your order, with the result that the threshold value specified by us with regard to the purchase price not to be paid by you or to be refunded by us would be undercut, we reserve the right not to refund the shipping costs that would have been incurred for the part of the order that was not canceled.
